Project Management for Successful Projects – 3 days
BSB41507 Certificate IV in Project Management

This is an intensive 3 day-course, focused on those staff working in, or with, projects. It describes the 8 of the 9 knowledge areas (PMBOK) relevant for successful management of projects from the perspective of team members and the project manager, and uses real-life case studies during the course to make the theory applicable.

In the course, participants use computers to complete their activities, which includes learning how to build a PROJECT PLAN using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) method. This is a highly interactive, high energy course, successful completion of which results in the award of a Certificate IV in Project Management.

    This is day 1 of an intensive 3 day- course, focused on those staff working in, or with, projects.     In the course, participants use computers to complete their activities, which include learning how to build a PROJECT PLAN using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) method. This is a highly interactive, high energy course, successful completion of which results in the award of a Certificate IV in Project Management.

    The Certificate IV in Project Management will run across three consecutive Saturday sessions, on the 11th of September, 18th of September and the 25th of September. The Certificate IV in Project Management consists of 8 units taught across these sessions as follows:

    • 11th September: Project Scope & Time
    • 18th September: Project management Cost, Quality & HR
    • 25th September: Project management Communication, Risk, Contract & Procurement

Leading Successful Projects – 5 days
BSB51407 Diploma of Project Management

This is an intensive 5 day-course, focused on those staff working in leadership positions in projects. It describes 9 knowledge areas (PMBOK) that the Project Manager must manage for successful conduct and conclusion of projects, and uses real-life case studies during the course to make the theory applicable.

In the course, participants use computers to complete their activities, which include learning how to commence a project, manage stakeholders, start up a team, build a project plan using the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) method, and manage variances ongoing. This is a highly interactive, high energy course, successful completion of which results in the award of a Diploma of Project Management.

Managing Quality and Risk – Builders Registration – 1 day
Risk and Quality – Builders Registration: Master Builders Program
BSBPMG505A Manage Project Quality & BSBPMG508A Manage Project Risk

This is a 1-day workshop specifically conducted for those wishing to obtain Builders’ Registration in WA.

This high energy course consists of TWO Units of Competency from the Project Management Diploma, with theory and practical examples from the building and construction industry delivered in a workshop environment. Case studies are from residential and commercial areas and cover a wide variety of projects that are delivered in the industry. Successful completion of the course and the assessments results in a Statement of Attainment from the 2 Project Management Diploma Units – BSBPMG505A Manage Project Quality and BSBPMG508A Manage Project Risk.
